WordPress version 4.6 is finally here and it comes with a number of significant changes. One of the first you’ll probably notice is that the typeface Open Sans has been substituted for system default fonts—as well as a number of other adjustments.

Version 4.6 of WordPress, named “Pepper” in honor of jazz baritone saxophonist Park Frederick “Pepper” Adams III, is available for download or update in your WordPress dashboard. New features in 4.6 help you to focus on the important things while feeling more at home.

In addition to the aesthetic changes, WordPress has improved the updating process as well as the way it handles auto-saving.
